Since 1901, three successive generation have directed, inspired and developed the VAN LATHEM Trimmings Company at Templeuve.  The current head of the Company, Michel VAN LATHEM continues to guide the prosperity of this labor-intensive industry with vision and passion.  The factory is installed in the textile basin to the North of France, in the lovely Pevele countryside, and includes both manufacturing and administrative facilities.  A second establishment was acquired in 1993.  A subsidiary in North Carolina joined the group in 1992.

Our objective is to keep this age-old textile art form alive within the current industrial and economic constraints, without compromising the quality which is the mainspring of our business.  We are particularly attentive to the quality of the service we offer, and we continue to recruit and train a highly qualified work force.

Being anxious to keep up with the times, we aim to keep the trimmings industry up to date by offering a series of collections which are adapted to modern textiles and styles, in "deco" mood at very competitive prices.  Trimmings highlight fabrics and interiors like a poetic and contemporary illuminator.  It gives a way to personalized homes which are more and more standardized.  That's why we want to offer it easy to use, like a game and in a wide range of materials, yarns and colors.
